About me

I am a CNRS researcher currently working on understanding the fundamental mechanisms governing neural stem cell populational dynamics.

I lead projects in the team of Zebrafish neurogenetics team (headed by Laure Bally-Cuif), investigating the mechanisms that regulate the spatiotemporal dynamics of adult neural stem cells in the telencephalon.
My research combines experimental and quantitative approaches. I collaborate with mathematicians (Felix Cheysson, Elias Ventre, Miguel Martinez-Herrera), physicists (Emmanuel Beaurepaire, Marcos Wappner-Boccaccio), and computational scientists (Gaelle Letort) to develop and apply cutting-edge tools, including multiphoton imaging, advanced image-analysis pipelines, multiplexed imaging, spatial statistics, and mathematical modeling.

I was initially trained in oceanography and biochemistry. During my PhD, I moved into the field of evolutionary developmental biology (evo-devo), before pursuing postdoctoral research on zebrafish development at Yale University.

Beyond research, I am passionate about microscopy and connections between science and art (partnerships with art and design schools and artists), committed to public engagement and scientific outreach (through activities in schools, penitentiary institutions, community organizations, media libraries…), involved in the scientific community such Comité National du CNRS and various committees at Institut Pasteur.
